Adult Education

We have on average between 20 – 40 Students. These students are both male and female, coming from the surrounding slums and Government Housing Projects around our Community.  The Adult Education students study the 8 school subjects and sit for the Government Exams. They also learn to do basic computing, including setting up and using email and web browsers.

In addition to these 8 school subjects, we also provide Vocational Trainings as follows:

Computer Training Centre

We teach computer usage to girls in residential care and disadvantaged adults from the slum areas. Computer classes are held daily on weekdays.

9:00am – 12:00pm:  Girls in residence

1:00pm – 4:00pm:  Nearby community residents

8:00pm – 9:00pm:  Disadvantaged adults in the slum

Hair Dressing, Manicure & Pedicure Courses

We provide training to Thais as well as refugees into personal grooming business, which is a good skill to set up a business. Focus is on Hairdressing, manicure and pedicure.

Dress Making Courses

We provide training for Thais as well as refugees (Somalia, Cambodia, Pakistan, Syria etc.) into dress making, to provide them with a skill before being sent to a 3rd country (USA, Europe, Canada etc..).

We have 2 recent examples of refugees moving to the Netherland and being able to start their own little business of dressmaking.
